How to Send Logs

This is a guide on how to send logs from your devices. This will show you how to send logs from your HTK, CTK, and Uniterm devices. Uniterm – When you have issues with your payment system taking cards or frequent declines, you can send us logs for review. Then send an email to support@netpark.us  1. Open the netPark software 2. Overview of Parking Zones

What are a Parking Zones – Parking Zones are a easy way for you to separate customers and areas of parking. Netpark has made the process simple to make sure you have consistency within your parking lot.  Creating a Parking Zone From the Dashboard, click  Maintenance and then Parking Zones.  In this screen, click the green button, +NEW PARKING ZONE A pop-up will appear. Parking Zones in Customer Accounts

Setting up Parking Zones for Customer Accounts Parking Zones are a great way to differentiate your customer accounts and make sure they enter their correct areas of parking.  To set up the Parking Zone, go into the Accounts section of netPark and select the customer that you want to add a Parking Zone to. Then select the Rates & Discounts tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on + Add Parking Zone. Make sure the Parking Zone is set up in advance. Audit Categories (setup)

What are Audit Categories – NetPark has the ability to track different actions that occur within the system. We have set up specific categories which correspond to a certain event. These events can trigger an email being sent out to (a) certain user(s).  – This is not to be confused with the Audit Log which is a specific report which shows all activity for the location  Setting up Audit Categories 1. To begin, from the dashboard, users will click on Maintenance, then click on Audit Categories. 2. Within this screen users will have a list off all the available audit categories offered by netPark.  3. To begin tracking a certain category, simply check the box next to Email Alert and then add the email in the Email Alert section. You may add as many emails as needed using a comma to separate each one.

Validations

Validations Validations are a great way for businesses to give their customers a way to pay for parking. In certain situations you will want to put up kiosk for customers to scan their validation before they leave the lot so that they do not have to pay on the way out. The new dashboard lets locations choose the setup of their dashboard (the first page upon login).  Explanation of the Dashboard and Functionalities The new dashboard gives users the choice between 11 pre-made dashboards that netPark designed based on the needs we see from our current and previous clients.  Select one of these dashboards or start from scratch to suit the needs of your lot! Editing or Creating a Dashboard To select a dashboard (or homepage) to begin customizing, users will need to be on the Dashboard. Options

Options Options are a great way to add extra revenue charges to a customer ticket within netPark. Options can be used for charges like a carwash or oil change service. They can also be used to as an additional revenue field. How to create Options To create Options in netPark, you will want to start from the Maintenance tab on the left hand side of netPark. From there you will find the Options button from there. Step 1: Once on the Options screen, on the far right hand side you can find the New Option button. Step 2: From the New Option screen, the first step is to give the option a name. Step 3: This step will involve setting a price for your option.
